List of coronavirus safe countries and places across the world

New Delhi : Most of the countries in the world are leading their fight against coronavirus in their own ways as the virus has spread to over 180 nations, infecting over 1.1 million people and killing more than 60k across the world.

While some countries are worst-hit, there are some countries and areas where no coronavirus case has been registered till date.

Tuvalu and Turkmenistan are two countries which have not reported even a single case of coronavirus. According to a list released by Johns Hopkins University, 40 places have been marked where there is no official case of coronavirus till April 1.

The prime reason behind the places not getting the infection is that they are very small in size and since most nations have sealed their boundaries, these places were cut off and remained safe from corona.

Meanwhile, there could be other factors because of which no information on positive coronavirus case has come till date.

For instance, Turkmenistan has banned the word coronavirus. North Korea is surrounded with nations hit with coronavirus but they have not released any data on positive cases.

Yemen is currently reeling with war so getting tests done is not possible there. There are some African countries which have also not registered any positive case but this could be because of lack of testing kits.

Antarctica is the only continent where there is no official case and that is because almost no people live in there.
