Spiti Valley Trip Day 1: Delhi to Rampur Bushahr in HRTC bus

New Delhi : Often considered as dream vacation – the Spiti Valley trip, News Heads' Ankit Pal embarked on a journey to the land which has one of the most beautiful landscapes, dangerous motorable roads in the world and some interesting facts.

On the first day of his trip, Ankit boarded a Himachal Pradesh Roadways bus from New Delhi's Kashmere Gate to Rampur Bushahr as he was taking the Shimla route to Kaza.

The bus started its journey at 7:30 PM and reached Rampur Bushahr at 9:30 AM (Next Day), crossing Shimla at around 4:00 AM in the morning.

To keep the trip interesting, he chose to make only one booking for the first night at Kalpa and rest remained unplanned.

After reaching Rampur, the local authorities told that one can board a local bus to Reckong Peo and from there easily reach Kalpa. Same did Ankit and took the local bus from Rampur to Peo and spent some time in the Peo market, post which he took another local bus to Kalpa.

From Kalpa bus stand, he had to experience a trek which was confusing and hilarious with the way people helped him in finding the way to his hotel.
