Spot Venus before it dims to disappear among stars

New Delhi : The current coronavirus pandemic lockdowns across the world has made our skies clearer, giving great opportunity to those who like stargazing and are more keen on watching planets from the Earth.

If you are among those who do not want to miss the opportunity and make the maximum out of the situation then, you can simply spot Venus from your place in these days.

On April 28, Venus will be the brightest and the best opportunity to see it twinkling in the skies. Meanwhile, it can be spotted in the skies for one or two extra days as it will start to dim. At the moment, Venus is the third brightest thing in the sky after Sun and Moon.

It’s so bright thanks to its orbit, which is closer to the sun than Earth is. At the moment it’s pretty close to our planet too, and so vivid because it reflects a lot of light from the sun.

After Tuesday, the Venus will start to dim and in the course of couple of days it will disappear among the stars in the skies.

But, this evening, as long as the skies are clear, you should have no problem spotting the brilliant planet twinkling away above you.
