Manohar Lal Khattar will be taking oath as Haryana Chief Minister on Sunday afternoon, beginning his second term in the state. He met the Governor on Saturday to stake claim of forming the government.

Manohar Lal Khattar is all set to begin his second term as the chief minister of Haryana, he has been scheduled to meet the governor Satyadev Narayan Arya in Chandigarh on Saturday to stake claim to form the government.

Manohar Lal Khattar is likely to return as the Chief Minister of Haryana with the support of Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) MLA Abhay Chautala, Haryana Lokhit Party (HLP) MLA Gopal Kanda and seven Independents.

Kalraj Mishra, the governor of Himachal Pradesh, has been transferred to Rajasthan, he will be replacing Kalyan Singh. Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya will replace Kalraj Mishra in Himachal Pradesh. Bhagat Singh Koshyari has been appointed as the new Governor of Maharashtra. Koshyari will replace Vidyasagar Rao.

Former External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Monday rejected reports claiming her appointment as the Andhra Pradesh governor. Clarifying the news on Twitter, she wrote, “The news about my appointment as Governor of Andhra Pradesh is not true.”
