BCCI on Monday submitted a draft constitution in Supreme Court in a sealed cover with incorporation of suggestions by Justice R M Lodha panel on reforms of cash-rich cricketing body.

It will be new chapter for Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) as the Delhi High Court-appointed observer Justice (retd) Vikramjit Sen officially took charge. After taking charge he also formed various committees.

According to sources, only Vidarbha and Tripura have implemented the Lodha Panel recommendations. The resistance is still deep rooted in BCCI after the Supreme Court dislodged the top management of the richest cricket board of the world.

It will be a remarkable day for Indian cricket, as the Supreme Court will decide the new office bearer in Indian cricket administration.

Supreme Court sacked BCCI chief Anurag Thakur and Secretary Ajay Shirke on Monday for not complying with the orders to make changes recommended by the R.M. Lodha panel.

Keeping his cards closed to his chest over Lodha Panel, BCCI president Anurag Thakur conceded that the current crisis facing the Board is not in the best interest of cricketers and the body will wait till Supreme Court gives its verdict on January 3.

Supreme Court on Tuesday bowled a shocker to Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), dismissed the cricket board's petition seeking review of the apex court verdict over Lodha panel recommendation.

As BCCI announced its plan to call-off ongoing India vs New Zealand series, Lodha panel took a swift action and asked banks to unfreeze the board's bank accounts at the earliest. Under any circumstances "cricket must go on," said retired Chief justice of India RM Lodha, who is also heading the committee recommended by Supreme Court to recommend reforms in the BCCI.

Submitting its report to Supreme Court, Lodha Panel on Wednesday recommended removal of all the top brasses in BCCI including board president Anurag Thakur.
