Junior doctors of NRS hospital, Kolkata have called off their strike after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee assured them of doing the needful. As per information, the doctors will resume their duties from Tuesday morning.

Doctors sitting on protest in the West Bengal refused to resume duty after they turned down Mamata Banerjee’s appeal to end their protest, saying the ‘chief minister did not take any honest initiative to address their concerns’.

Union Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan on Friday requested doctors to call off their protest and return on duties.
