GAIL(India) Limited is set to supply piped natural gas (PNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) in Patna. PNG and CNG which are comparatively cheaper and convenient fuel than the conventional liquified petroleum gas (LPG), petrol, and diesel. With its ambitious project, GAIL would take a giant stride towards a pollution-free Patna.

State-run Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) has raised the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) by Rs 1.70 per kg and of domestic piped gas by Rs 1.30 per standard cubic metres (scm) in Delhi, effective Monday, following a change in the rate of domestic natural gas prices payable to producers.

Following the roll-out of the GST, state-run Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) hiked the price of CNG in Delhi by Rs 1.11 per kg, and of piped natural gas (PNG) to households by 33 paise per unit, effective Wednesday, to account for increase in tax under the pan-India indirect tax regime.
