BJP councillor from Sriniwaspuri and member of the South Delhi Municipal Corporation’s standing committee Rajpal Singh on Monday claimed that the civic body is planning on demolishing the Tablighi Jamaat Markaz in Nizamuddin.

Delhi Police on Wednesday registered a FIR against an ASI for allegedly handcuffing and assaulting a restaurant manager over a delay in food delivery by the eatery at the Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station premises.

Syed Asif Ali Nizami, 80, and his nephew Nazim Ali Nizami, clerics of Delhi's Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargah, landed at the Delhi airport on Monday morning.
