Amid coronavirus outbreak, major companies suspended their work across the nation; following this Sensex tanked on Monday morning massively.

World health officials have issued a warning to the countries claiming that they are not taking coronavirus seriously; this comes after a sudden surge in the number of cases in the US and Europe.

Stock exchanges have taken the permissions from the Securities and Exchange Board of India to keep markets open on February 1 (Saturday); the government is scheduled to present the Union Budget 2020 on that day.

The Indian Rupee started on a cautious note and fell 15 paise to 70.84 against the US dollar in early trade on Wednesday tracking subdued opening in domestic equities.
