Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chief K Sivan on Saturday said that the next priority for them in the Gaganyaan, adding that Chandrayaan 2 achieved 98% of the soul objectives.

With the mission, India had aimed of creating history and become the fourth nation - after the United States, Russia and China – to soft land on the moon. It would also have made India the first country to complete a soft landing near the South Pole on its first attempt.

Ensuring that there are still hopes alive to establish a connection with Vikram lander, ISRO chief K Sivan told the national broadcaster that his team will continue to find a connection with the lander for next 14 days.
