Sarita Devi finally receives Asian Games bronze medal

New Delhi : Indian boxer Sarita Devi who had refused to accept bronze medal during Asian Games 2014 under controversial circumstances has finally received it. Indian Olympic Association Secretary General Rajeev Mehta presented the prestigious medal to her at the Headquarters.

AIBA had suspended Sarita after her refusal to accept Bronze medal.
The final quantum of punishment is yet to be decided.
Many famous sports personalities have shown support for the lady and want AIBA to revoke the provisional suspension on Sarita.
