"All out for 36": Indian fans give befitting reply to Cricket Australia's tweet
New Delhi : Australia is known for playing mind games before the actual field games and same was seen on Twitter recently when an official account of 'Cricket Australia' posted a video highlighting Team India's disastrous performance in an inning when the team had collapsed at a small target of 36 runs.
But, looks like Indian fans, including commentator Aakash Chopra, were all set to troll Australia back on the post. Netizens posted the final results of the series which showed how India had beaten Australia 2-1 in the series.
"All out for 36. The Border-Gavaskar Trophy starts on Thursday," tweeted cricket.com.au.
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia is scheduled to begin with NagpurTest on Thursday. Since 2004, Australia has not won in a Test series played in India. India, on the other hand, would aim to continue their dominance after winning their two previous visits to the country.
Till date, 15 BGT tournaments have been played in which India has won 9 and Australia has managed to win in 5. Following are some of the reactions by Indian fans on Cricket Australia's tweet:
