Anushka 'Sir', Virat 'Mam bhi bol de': Lightheart shutterbugs moment outside restaurant in Mumbai
New Delhi : On Tuesday, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma joined the rest of the Royal Challengers Bangalore team for a dinner outing in Mumbai. Afterward, the couple emerged from the restaurant to pose for photographs in front of the photographers. However, in a moment of mistaken identity, one of the photographers accidentally referred to Anushka as 'sir'. Virat playfully responded, suggesting that he should be called 'ma'am' instead. The couple shared a smile at the lighthearted remark before returning inside the restaurant.
Virat donned a printed shirt paired with black pants and white sneakers, while Anushka opted for a white striped vest matched with white pants and black heels. Following their dinner, the couple graciously stepped outside to pose for the paparazzi, as captured in the video. Unfortunately, amidst the photographers' attempts to grab their attention for the camera, one of them mistakenly referred to Anushka as 'sir'. Responding playfully, Virat quipped, "Why don't you say Virat ma'am too!" This lighthearted remark prompted the apologetic photographer to correct his mistake. The couple took the gaffe in good humor, sharing a smile, and then proceeded to reenter the restaurant.
On Tuesday, RCB saw a setback against the Mumbai Indians. Anushka has been a constant presence in the stands, supporting Virat during all of his matches.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony held in Italy back in 2017, surrounded by close friends and family. Prior to their marriage, they had been in a relationship for several years. In January 2021, they welcomed their daughter, Vamika Kohli, into the world.
