Covid-19 Prediction: Jofra Archer guessed 21-lockdown three years back

New Delhi : English pacer Jofra Archer is famous for making predictions and accurate assumption over the real-life events. He is well-known for predicting the Super Over in 50 over 2019's Cricket World Cup Final and has made headlines several times for his "supernatural" powers.

Now, when the world is fighting epidemic coronavirus and is struggling to find a way out of the global crisis, a three-year-old tweet has made people go into shock.

On Wednesday (March 24), Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a complete 21-day lockdown in India to combat the contagious Covid-19 virus that has killed more than 19,500 people across the world.

Stressing on the social distancing aspect, Modi said, "Step outside the 'Lakshman Rekha' of your house in the next 21 days and you will set the country back by 21 years."

"Jaan hai toh jahan hai (the world exists only when we live)," he added.

A Twitter user has now spotted a tweet from Archer in which he had written three weeks won't be enough. Now, when it is not known that the tweet was in which context, the people on social media have tagged it as a prediction made by Archer on India lockdown.
