Dhoni wanted Rs 30 lakh at retirement, retiring at Rs 800 crores

New Delhi : Mahendra Singh Dhoni has announced his retirement from the international cricket and now he will officially not play cricket for team India. 

With the news emotions have gone off the field and his fans and followers are wishing that somehow he returns and play for some more days. 

MS Dhoni announced his retirement news on Instagram and mentioned, "Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired."

When he started playing cricket for India, he had a dream to earn around Rs 30 lakhs by the time he retires, Wasim Jaffar had said.

MS Dhoni was the captain of team India for 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 50-over World Cup and enjoyed the title of cool caption in the world cricket. Recalling his time with Dhoni in the dressing roon, Wasim Jaffer said once Dhoni had told him that all he wanted was to "make 30 lakh from playing cricket".

"In his 1st or 2nd year in Indian team, I remember he said, he wants to make 30 lakhs from playing cricket so he can live peacefully rest of his life in Ranchi," Jaffer had answered on his twitter handle to a query.

Now, when Mahendra Singh Dhoni has officially retired, he has a total net worth of $111 million (approximately Rs 830 crores), according to sportskeeda.
