Dwayne Bravo becomes first bowler with 400 wickets in T20I

New Delhi : West Indies bowler Dwayne Bravo has become the first bowler to have 400 wickets on his name in T20 cricket game. He achieved the feat by scoring five wickets for the Melbourne Renegades during the Big Bash League.

Despite showing great figures in the league match, there is very less chance of him returning to the playing 11 of his national team.

“I was dropped while I was fit. I don’t think now, at 34, it would make any sense coming back. I just need to see what is left for me, for my fans to see Dwayne Bravo playing cricket. That is my priority,” Bravo had told reporters.

But, he did not rule out his urge to play for the short format of the game via different league tournaments across the world.

“I am looking at these tournaments as a chance to continue playing cricket. As long as I can play cricket, I am happy,” the 34-year-old said.

Bravo had announced his Test retirement from the national team in the year 2015, focusing on the shorter formats of the game.
