I can bowl anytime, I am lethal: Virat Kohli on semi-final eve

London : Indian skipper Virat Kohli left everybody laughing with his statement that he can bowl anytime and he is lethal but the only thing he has to be careful about is not slipping on the pitch at the time of delivery.

The statement came during a press conference on the India vs New Zealand semi-final eve.

"We played with 5 bowling options because it gives more depth in batting. I can bowl anytime. I am lethal as long as I don't slip on the pitch. We are up to reviewing that. 5 bowlers has worked well," Kohli said at the pre-match press conference on Monday.

On a serious note Virat Kohli said that the team management is trying their best in ensuring a flexible side for him.

"To go a long way in this tournament we have to be flexible, specially knowing the situation of the game you can't have a set batting order from ball one to ball 300 because situations change. And I think we have handled it well.

"We intend to do the same. If the opening partnership is going strong and someone needs to go in at No. 3 and strike the ball, he is absolutely open to do that. To win a tournament like this you have to be flexible and think on your feet and I think we have done that very well so far," Kohli said.

India and New Zealand will be playing their first semi-final game on Tuesday.

New Zealand have featured in 7 World Cup semi-finals so far and won just once in 2015 when they finished as the runners-up behind Australia. India on the other hand, have won three and lost three in World Cup semis.
