India becomes first team to accomplish 9-0 clean sweep on away tour

Colombo : Team India's Sri Lanka tour has made them everyone's favourite, thanks to a clean sweep of 9-0 across all formats. 'Men in Blue' have become the first ones to accomplish the feat on away tour.

India on Wednesday won one-off T20I by seven wickets to remain unbeaten in the series 

It was the seventh time when a team has ended up winning every international match across formats on a tour. But no team has done a 9-0 on a overseas tour.

Australia achieved the same sweeping 9-0 scoreline against Pakistan in 2009-10 but they did that at home.
