India vs Australia 2nd T20I: Maxwell's ton powers Australia to historic series win against India
New Delhi : Glen Maxwell once again shined for Australia as men in yellow registered a victory against India at M Chinnaswamy in Bengaluru to clinch the series. Australia defeated India by seven wickets to pocket the series 2-0. Chasing 191, Maxwell (113 not out) hit his third T20I hundred while D’Arcy Short scored 40 as Australia gunned down 191.
Winning toss, Australia asked hosts to bat first. KL Rahul got India to a power start before he fell for a 26-ball 47. India skipper and veteran Mahendra Singh Dhoni delighted the Chinnaswamy crowd with a 100-run stand off 50 balls, propelling India to 190 for four. Virat Kohli hammered an unbeaten 72 off 38 balls, while Dhoni played a supporting role well with 40 runs of 23 balls.
