James Anderson hopes to make cut in second Test

England pace spearhead James Anderson who has missed the first Test against India is hopeful to be fit for the rest of the series. The second Test is stating from November 17 in Visakhapatnam.

The 34-year-old paceman, is coming off a shoulder injury which ruled him out of the drawn series in Bangladesh.  However, Anderson sounded optimistic about returing to playing XI next week.

Anderson’s last Test appearance came in August against Pakistan at the Oval.

The English bowler congratulated his pace bowling partner Stuart Broad after he followed in his footsteps and won his 100th Test cap in the ongoing opening Test in Rajkot.

England will be playing 5 Test matches and three ODIs against India. It is first time after 29 years India will be playing 5 Test series at home. The Test series is a chance for Indian side to consolidate its position as top ranked side. England showed nerve against Bangladesh on the spinning tracks.
