New Delhi : Indian bowler Amit Mishra gave a perfect gift to the nation on Diwali eve by picking up five wickets in the final match of India vs New Zealand ODI series. India celebrated the day with 190-run victory against Kiwis. 

New Zealand openers managed to score only 28 runs when they went back to the pavilion on sixth over. From there, Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor added 35 runs for the third wicket. After Williamsons departed in the 15th over, the rest batsmen only managed to add up only sixteen runs.

In the end India sealed five-match ODI series 3-2.

Amit Mishra led the bowling attack from Indian side as the visitors wrapped their innings for just 79 runs in the 24th over. Axar Patel picked two-wickets while debutant off-spinner Jayant Yadav picked a wicket as well.

Earlier, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli scored 70 and 65 runs respectively taking India to a respectable target of 269 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. 

For New Zealand, Ish Sodhi and Trent Boult picked up two wickets each while Jimmy Neesham and Mitchell Santner picked up a wicket each.
