India vs Sri Lanka, 2nd ODI: Deepak Chahar scripts India's series winning knock
New Delhi : Chasing a target of 278 runs, India was down to 193 for seven and a very little hope to save the game; but then came Deepak Chahar who stood strong on the field and led India to victory against Sri Lanka in the 2nd ODI to seal the series for his team.
Deepak Chahar scored brilliant 69 runs to set things in favour of India. Apart from bat, he also performed with the ball as he took 2 wickets.
Before this game, Deepak Chahar's highest score as a batsman was 12. But in the game he showed a remarkable zeal to win the game under high pressure. He finished the game with five balls remaining. It was India's ninth consecutive bilateral series win over Sri Lanka.
The third ODI will be played on Friday.
