Injured Rohit Sharma ruled out of Dhaka Test, return in Team India next year

New Delhi : India is all set to play their second test against Bangladesh in Mirpur from December 22nd onwards. Ahead of that, India’s regular skipper Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the game. He had missed the first Test in Chattogram and he will not be travelling to Dhaka. Vice Captain KL Rahul will continue to lead the team in his absence for the second and final Test of the series, in which India is leading by 1-0.

The news of Rohit’s unavailability emerged on Monday after it was found that his thumb injury has not been fully healed. According to a media report, he has been suffering a little bit of stiffness.
