KL Rahul-Athiya Shetty gets expensive wedding gifts from Dhoni, Virat

Mumbai : KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty tied knot in the presence of friends and family members in the hills of Khandala on Monday (January 23). Rahul and Athiya Shetty had been dating for a long time, and on Monday, the star couple tied knot promising each other to spend lifetime together. Indian cricketers like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and Surya Kumar Yadav were unable to attend his wedding as they were busy in playing cricket against New Zealand in the ODI series. 

However, there are reports which claims that the cricketers have sent their wishes and expensive gifts to KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty. According to media reports, Kerala has received BMW car by Kohli, which is worth rupees 2.17 crore. Meanwhile, former Indian skipper and legend of the game, Mahindra Singh Dhoni has gifted him a Kawasaki Ninja bike, which is worth Rs 80 lakhs. It must be noted that there is no confirmation from KL Rahul and Atiya Shetty on receiving those gifts.

The media reports have also claimed that father-in-law Suniel Shetty has gifted his daughter and son in law a luxurious apartment in Mumbai, which approximately cost around rupees 50 crores. Talking about the Bollywood Industry, Salman Khan has gifted an Audi car while Jackie Stoff has kept an expensive watch to the couple.

After the wedding, Rahul was seen thanking everyone who was the part of his wedding. His father in law’s Suneil Shetty also thanked everyone and said he is happy to become one and would like to play a role of father for Rahul as well. He also informed that a reception for the wedding will be done after IPL 2023.
