Mumbai : Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag is known for his daring attitude he used to show with his aggressive cricket on the field. The perfect example remains that he had scored his triple ton against Pakistan with a massive six.

Now, cut to present, Sarfaraz Khan has come up roaring in the same style. The Mumbai batsman brought up his 250 with a six and reached 300 with a maximum as well.

He was on 295* when his former teammate Rinku Singh was bowling. It was an over-pitched ball from round the wicket and Khan went for the classical slog and connected it successfully. After the ball cleared the ropes an elated Khan was on his knees in enjoying the moment.

Till the end of the game he did not lose his wicket and score 301* off 391 balls. He scored triple ton with the help of 30 boundaries and eight sixes.

His triple century is only the third by a first-class batsman while batting at No 6. Among the eight triple centuries made by Mumbai batsmen in Ranji Trophy games, he is the seventh to have done it. Only Wasim Jaffer has done it twice.

Mumbai's game against the Uttar Pradesh ended up in a draw with the former taking 3 point lead in the tally.
