Mohammad Shami’s photo with wife trolled: 'Shameful comments', says Mohammad Kaif

New Delhi : Indian pacer Mohammd Shami became the latest victim of the social media attacks after he posted a picture of him with his wife.

Shami is famous for shocking batsmen with his out-swing bowling, but people left no attack to swing his mind over the photograph in which his wife can be seen wearing a sleeveless dress.

Many of the comments demanded that Shami should ensure that his wife, Hasin Jahan, was not seen without wearing a hijab.

Shami had posted the photograph on December 23.

Former cricketer Mohammad Kaif was the first one who came in support and slammed everyone for making such comments.

A similar attack was seen on the tennis star Sania Mirza. In 2005, a cleric issued a fatwa (edict), ordering the then 18-year-old to stop wearing ‘indecent’ clothes and instead be covered from head-to-toe while playing.
