New Delhi : In the Asia Cup final, Mohammed Siraj, the Indian pacer, showcased an impressive performance by rattling Sri Lanka's batting lineup, leaving fans in awe with his extraordinary skills. Social media was abuzz with Siraj's bowling talent, and even the social media team of the Delhi Police joined the chorus of appreciation by posting a cheerful tweet. The Delhi Police's social media account playfully announced, "No speed challans for #Siraj today."



Meanwhile, in the Asia Cup 2023 final in Colombo, Mohammed Siraj has achieved a remarkable feat by securing six wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah contributed with one dismissal, and Hardik Pandya took down three Sri Lankan batsmen, resulting in a one-sided contest.

The Indian bowlers executed a flawless performance, restricting Sri Lanka to a mere 50 runs and putting India on the brink of victory in the Asia Cup final.

Notably, Mohammed Siraj achieved an astounding milestone by claiming his first five wickets in just 16 deliveries, setting a new record for the fastest achievement of this feat in ODI cricket history. This incredible display of bowling mastery occurred during the fourth over, where he dismissed Pathum Nissanka, Sadeera Samaraiwickrama, Charith Asalanka, and Dhananjaya De Silva with deliveries in the 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, and 3.6 ball range.

It's worth mentioning that the match had a delayed start due to rain, even though Sri Lanka's captain, Dasun Shanaka, won the toss and chose to bat against India.
