Meanwhile, in the Asia Cup 2023 final in Colombo, Mohammed Siraj has achieved a remarkable feat by securing six wickets, while Jasprit Bumrah contributed with one dismissal, and Hardik Pandya took down three Sri Lankan batsmen, resulting in a one-sided contest.

The Indian bowlers executed a flawless performance, restricting Sri Lanka to a mere 50 runs and putting India on the brink of victory in the Asia Cup final.

Notably, Mohammed Siraj achieved an astounding milestone by claiming his first five wickets in just 16 deliveries, setting a new record for the fastest achievement of this feat in ODI cricket history.
