ODI batting rankings: David Warner tops list; Virat, AB pushed back

New Delhi : It’s been all the way David Warner’s show in last few months. All eyes were on Kohli, Smith, Williamson, Root but Warner just stole the show and became the clear winner. The flamboyant hard hitting opener reached the top spot in the ODI rankings pushing AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli to second and third position. 

The left handed amazed 367 runs in just concluded ODI series against Pakistan. Warner, scored six centuries in his past 11 one-dayers, is 19 points ahead of second-placed de Villiers and 28 in front of Kohli.  

Pakistan's Babar Adam for the first time got into the top 10 in ODI batting ranking, climbing five positions to reach No.10 after scoring 282 runs in the series. 

South Africa’s wicket keeper Quinton de Kock and New Zealand’s skipper are positioned in fourth and fifth place. 

Former Indian skipper MS Dhoni jumped a place to 13th position and Shikhar Dhawan is placed in 14th jointly with Jos Butler.
