Pakistan may miss direct World Cup 2019 bus

New Delhi : It will be a huge blow to the Pakistan cricket as they might not qualify for the 2019 World Cup directly. According to the latest ICC rankings, The Men in Green are in 8th place with just 89 points. The lost against Australia in ODI series 4-1have not helped their course. 

Pakistan are two behind Bangladesh and two ahead of West Indies in the rankings. 

Hosts England very narrowly qualified for the World Cup as they are positioned 7th position and will be a chance for them to win their first World title in their own backward. 

The World Cup is scheduled to be held from May 30 to July 15, 2019. 

In later part of February, Pakistan will host Bangladesh in UAE for two Tests, three ODIs and a T20 Internationals. 

In March-April, the Men in Green are scheduled to play West Indies for three ODIs and two T20Is. In June, Pakistan will take participate in Champions trophy but it will be hard for them to regain points. 

India (112) stayed at the third spot in the team rankings, but gained a point to be behind South Africa (116) and toppers Australia (120).
