Retirement: Will MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina play cricket again?

New Delhi : On August 15, 2020, two great Indian cricketers Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina announced that they are officially retiring from the international cricket, sending shockwave in the entire nation with fans tweeting their wishes and emotional messages.

Normally, after a player retires there are very less chances to see him playing the professional game again. But, things are different for Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Suresh Raina. Yes, they have retired and they will not be donning the blue jersey again; however, both of them will be seen playing cricket professionally in the upcoming season of Indian Premier League.

Both MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina play for Chennai Super Kings in IPL and are in the playing squad. The latest season of IPL will be played in UAE in the month of September.

The speculation on Mahendra Singh Dhoni's cricketing future may have come to rest but this is sure that his fans will watch him play on the grounds very soon.

"Thanks a lot for ur love and support throughout.from 1929 hrs consider me as Retired," MS Dhoni wrote along with an Instagram post of a montage capturing his career with the national team.

"It was nothing but lovely playing with you, @mahi7781 . With my heart full of pride, I choose to join you in this journey. Thank you India. Jai Hind!," Suresh Raina posted with a picture of Indian teammates.
