Rishabh Pant pleads Ajinkya Rahane for an appeal, Rohit Sharma laughs

New Delhi : Rishabh Pant was all energized on Day 1 to ensure Team India gets quick wickets, while the game proceeded on its own pace; he gave some laughter moment to his teammates.

Cricket Australia shared a moment from the game when only Rishabh Pant felt that he has taken a catch and started appealing for it alone. He then goes to Ajinkya Rahane asking to support his appeal. On receiving no positive reply he starts walking back to his position and Rohit Sharma laughs at him making the moment light.

"Rishabh Pant was heaps keen on this one but he was getting donuts from the cordon," the tweet read. 

Earlier, Tim Paine won the toss and elected to bat first in the Gabba Test.
