Rohit Sharma predicted his hundred three days back | IND vs NZ ODI series

New Delhi : Indian skipper Rohit Sharma surprised his fans with a ton that came after a long-gap of three years. He scored 101 runs in the third ODI against New Zealand. Team India, on the other hand, won the game by 90 runs to win the 3-match series 3-0. With this India has also achieved the No.1 spot in both ICC T20 and ODI rankings.

Talking about Rohit Sharma, it is interesting to know that he had predicted his hundred a couple of days back.

In the second ODI against New Zealand on January 21, Rohit Sharma had scored 51 runs and after the match he was asked about the missing century in last three years. Replying to which, he had said that he knows that the century has been missing from past couple of years but he is satisfied with his game and making some changes so a big score will come soon.

Exactly three days after making the statement, Rohit Sharma has scored a century, showing that he is back in form.

Rohit Sharma has also equalled Ricky Ponting's record of 30 tons. Sachin Tendulkar is still leading the charts with 49 centuries. Virat Kohli is on the second spot with 46 tons and third spot is now shared by Ricky Ponting and Rohit Sharma with 30 hundreds each.
