Sanjay Manjrekar gets trolled for giving bowling advice to Jasprit Bumrah

New Delhi : Sanjay Majrekar took to Twitter to share his reaction on Jasprit Bumrah's bowling in super over during India vs New Zealand 3rd T20I in Hamilton on Wednesday. Jasprit Bumrah, who is considered one of the best bowlers during death overs, was hammered with 17 runs in the super over by New Zealand batsmen.

As his bowling figures were opposite to what his image is, Sanjay Manjrekar posted a piece of advice for him, "Watched that super over from Bumrah. He is such a fabulous bowler but he could use the crease a little more to create different delivery angles."

His advice did not go well with Jasprit Bumrah's fans and a series of memes and jokes followed.

"Stop it, you were an average player," one user tweeted.

"Sanjay Manjjrekar of 2019 is back at 2020. Why Sanjay? I think getting mass abuse is your passion," tweeted another.

India, however, went on to win the Super Over contest, with Rohit Sharma's twin sixes off the final two deliveries from Tim Southee seeing the team through.

India has now attained an unassailable win over New Zealand and will face them in the 4th T20 on Friday.
