Chennai : Indian skipper Rohit Sharma hailed his team for a brilliant 3-0 whitewash in T20I series against West Indies, saying that Team India aimed to be ruthless rather than complacent after securing 2-0 lead ahead of the final game.

Men in Blue secured a six-wicket victory against West Indies in the final match to achieve 3-0 clean sweep.

"We spoke at the start of this game that we wanted to be ruthless. There were chances of us being complacent and turning up at the ground. We didn’t want to be complacent and wanted to come out and win," Sharma said.

India reached victory by achieving a competitive total on 182 runs in the last ball. Rohit Sharma said he was calm as he has an experience of tackling such situation in the Indian Premier League.

“Games like these happen a lot. Especially in the IPL, these have happened a lot. I’ve been part of games like these with Mumbai Indians. Great effort to cross the finish line,” he said.
