Viral post: Mahendra Singh Dhoni in urgent need, requires ₹600 to reach home

Ranchi : Online scams are growing with every passing day. In a recent trending post, a person can be seen impersonating former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni can be seen asking for Rs 600 to reach his home via bus.

As seen in the viral post, the impersonating man posted a picture of Mahendra Singh Dhoni stuck in fields of Ranchi and asked for a help of Rs 600 to purchase a bus ticket to reach his home; which he promises to return soon after reaching his destination.

Such types of scams are very common these days where a person takes a picture of one of your known and sends you an emotional message asking for the money; While some innocent people fall to it and send their hard-earned money resulting in fraud. Talking about this particular incident, everyone is well aware that Mahendra Singh Dhoni is currently busy playing the Indian Premier League and is not in Ranchi.

It is advised that people must not help anyone via such messages. Instead, they should call and meet the person physically and provide for all possible help.
