New Delhi : The run machine Virat Kohli has scored another charismatic century to beat Sachin Tendulkar's twin records as he scored his 46th ODI hundred in the 3rd match of the 3-match series against Sri Lanka in Trivandrum on Sunday. 

Virat Kohli broke 2 records of Sachin Tendulkar - he now sits ahead of Sachin Tendulkar in the list of most ODI centuries at home and also he has scored the highest number of tons against a single team in the 50-over format of the international cricket.

With a ton in the first match of the series against Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli had equal Sachin Tendulkar’s record. Virat Kohli took only 99 innings to score his 20th ODI 100 on the home turf. While Sachin Tendulkar had done the same in 160 innings.

Now with another ton in the 3rd ODI, Virat Kohli has surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s tally as he score 21st ton on home soil.

On the other hand, Virat Kohli has also beaten Sachin Tendulkar’s record of most ODI hundreds against a single team. Both Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli had jointly scored 9 centuries each against a single nation. The latest ton by Virat Kohli took his tally number to 10 against Sri Lanka.

Meanwhile, Team India has scored the biggest ever win in the ODI history as they Sri Lanka by 317 runs in the 3rd ODI of 3-match ODI series. Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill where seen in great form as they both scored centuries, helping India to post 390 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. Team India pacer Mohammed Siraj then blew up the Sri Lankan top order as he took 4 wickets for mere 32 runs. Team India bundled Sri Lanka for just 73 runs in 22 overs.
