Indore : Team India's current skipper Virat Kohli has equalled the record of consecutive ODI wins made by the former captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. With the way team India is heading, it is likely that Kohli could surpass the figure and set a new record in the fourth ODI.

With a win over Australia in Indore ODI, Virat Kohli claimed nine consecutive ODI wins, a feat that was achieved by Mahendra Singh Dhoni so far.

Team India has attained an unassailable 3-0 lead in the ongoing five-match ODI series against Australia.

Time period of the records:

Mahendra Singh Dhoni had struck nine consecutive wins in the time period stretched from February 2008 to January 2009. And team India's victory run under Virat Kohli's captainship has started from July 6 this year with an eight-wicket win over West Indies in the fifth and last match of that series at Sabina Park.

While records are being made, the only thing is constant that the nation is proud of Indian Team.
