New Delhi : Indian skipper Virat Kohli was dealing in sixes and fours when he came to bat against West Indies during the third T20I, scoring 70 runs in just 29 balls.

He smashed his 24th T20I fifty in just 17 balls and while scoring 70 he struck the ball out of the boundary seven times. Kohli's knock that came at a strike rate of 241.38 was brutal and exquisite in equal measure.

During one of his sixes, Virat Kohli was in his own awe, apparently doubting his six hitting capabilities.

During the game, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma jointly scored 16 sixes to provide India a strong score. Rohit Sharma (71) and KL Rahul (91) put on 135 runs for the opening wicket to lay the platform for India's imposing total.

Rohit Sharma also became the first Indian batsman to score 400 international sixes with his first of five strikes over the fence. West Indies' Chris Gayle leads the sixes show with 534 across all three formats.

The T20I series will be followed by a three-match One-day International series.
