Watch: Krunal Pandya gets emotional after half century in debut match

Mumbai : Hardik Pandya's brother Krunal Pandya made his debut in ODIs for team India on Tuesday against England; he got a desired start as he scored half a ton in his first ODI match. The Indian cricketer got emotional when he commentator asked to share his feelings.

Former India cricketer Murali Kartik, now a commentator, asked him to share his feelings on the feat but the Krunal Pandya got short of words and broke down into tears. Watch video shared by BCCI on twitter:

Interestingly, Krunal Pandya's fifty is the fastest by any debutant till date.

Hardik Pandya was quick to get to him and console him with a big hug; the two brothers lost their father this January.

In the match, Krunal came in to bat at a tough stage with India in trouble at 205 for five with less than 10 overs remaining. 

Krunal and KL Rahul took charge of the proceedings and put on an unbeaten 112-run stand for the sixth wicket.

With his brilliant knock, Team India managed a commanding position in the game.
