Wriddhiman Saha set to return for Australia Tests hints MSK Prasad

New Delhi : It was Parthiv Patel vs Wriddhiman Saha in the recently concluded Irani Trophy. Shah came out winner with a double ton in the second innings to guide Rest of India to title win. On the way he was also the first man to score a double century in fourth innings of Irani Trophy.

Chairman of selectors MSK Prasad indicated that Wriddhiman Saha will regain his rightful place in the Indian Test for upcoming matches. According to him, Saha is number 1 and Patel is number 2 in the race.

While, Parthiv had a good comeback in Tests, with two half-centuries followed by Ranji Trophy winning hundred against Mumbai.

According to some senior players the glove work of Parthiv has also improved considerably but Wriddhiman still has better hands.

Saha was also the man of the match in the Kolkata Test against New Zealand and scored a century against West Indies.

India is set to play four Test matches against Australia and one-off against Bangladesh in next three months.
