Yuzvendra Chahal: Only player who represents India in both chess and cricket

New Delhi : Yuzvendra Chahal, born in Haryana, is a leg-spinner for Indian cricket team. He is the only player who represents India in both chess and cricket.

Chahal, born on July 23, 1990, is a mainstream cricketer who plays for Haryana in the domestic cricket. His name is also listed in World Chess Federation’s official site.

He was the part of Indian Under 16 chess team, but later he decided to shape his career into cricket.

Chahal was first picked by Mumbai Indians in 2011 for Indian Premier League; currently, he plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

He is one of the finest leg-spinners India has produced and same confirms his brilliant bowling figures – six-wicket against England in Bengaluru T20, 2 for 9 in 3 overs in the Final against Royal Challengers Bangalore and more.

The man had made his international debut in the year 2016 against Zimbabwe.
