New Delhi : FIFA World Cup 2022 has been slated to begin from November 21st this year, but some reports suggest that the event is likely to be preponed by a day and will begin from November 20th.

According to a report, the change is being made so that the host nation Qatar can be a part of the opening game. As per earlier schedule, Senegal and Netherlands were scheduled to begin the tournament in November 21. Now if the change put into act, Qatar will be featuring in the opening match against Ecuador on 20th November.
