Inter Miami CF officially signs Lionel Messi for ongoing season

New Delhi : Major League Soccer (MLS) side Inter Miami CF took to social media to announce the new signing od Argentine World Cup winning superstar, Lionel Messi for the ongoing season on Sunday.

36-year-old Lionel Messi has signed a 2.5 year long contract with an option of extending in 2026 as well. According to reports, the football superstar will be making around 54 million USD a year with profit sharing from the League’s deal with both Apple and Adidas. 

It has been learned that his contract allows him to have an ownership opportunity of the club, after he hangs up his boots.

Inter Miami shared a photo and a video on social media to reveal the new development. The Florida-based club tweeted “Bienvenido” (welcome) with a photo of Messi wearing a pink No. 10 jersey.
