Chak De India moment: Women hockey team beat men hockey team

New Delhi : It was nothing less than a Chak De India moment when senior Indian women hockey team defeated junior Belgium men hockey team to cap off their Europe tour.

Indian women hocket team started off on an attacking note and slammed three goals within 15 minutes of the start of the game but post that men took over and returned in game with scoring knocks; but eventually, the game ended 4-3 in India’s favour.

Sjoerd Marijne, who was recently appointed as men’s team coach, took to Twitter and said he enjoyed coaching the women’s team in his last match as their coach. 

“Enjoyed coaching the last match with The Indian Women’s Team. Proud of them [sic],” he tweeted.
