Heartbreak for RCB, Virat Kohli might miss IPL 10
New Delhi : In a huge jolt to the Royal Challengers Bangalore, India’s captain Virat Kohli might miss some initial games in the Indian Premier League due to his shoulder injury.
Kohli got injured during fielding in Ranchi Test against Australia and had to sit down in the must-win Dharamsala Test.
The 28-year-old Kohli, who is Royal Challengers Bangalore’s captain, hinted that he might be out of the field for ‘a few weeks.’ The IPL is starting on April 5 with a match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad.
With just few days to go for the game, Kohli’s statement about the duration he might take to recover has raised doubts over his participation in IPL.
Kohli is the vital cog in the RCB’s star studded batting line up. In the absent of Kohli, ABD might led the side.
The Royal Challengers also has matches on April 8 against Delhi Daredevils, April 10 against Kings XI Punjab. So, even if Kohli takes two weeks to recover fully from his shoulder injury from now, he will miss at least three matches.
