New Delhi : The injury of West Indies ace all-rounder has become blessing in disguise for Irfan Pathan. Irfan’s case is can be completely called as one man’s loss is another one’s gain.

The left handed all-rounder is all set to play for Gujarat Lions in Indian Premier League 2017. Lions will bring in Pathan as the replacement of Dwayne Bravo who was ruled of the season.

Pathan, wasn’t picked during the auctions after being released by Rising Pune SuperGiant. His base price was Rs 50 Lakh.

Pathan has played a total of 102 games in IPL with 80 wickets and 1137 runs.

Lions are currently placed in seventh place and struggling to get their combinations right through this season. Bravo, was a vital cog in Lions line up as they finished on the top of the table last year.
