IPL 10: Rising Pune Supergiant acquire pacer Shardul Thakur

New Delhi : Just a month before cash-rich Indian Premier League, Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) have acquired the services of Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) pacer Shardul Thakur. The IPL is scheduled to start from from April 5 to May 21.

With Thakur in their ranks, RPS has a good pace attack as they had Rahul Chahar, Rajat Bhatia, Ishwar Pandey, Jaskaran Singh, Jaydev Unadkat.

In the last season, Thakur played a solitary game against Delhi Daredevils for Kings XI. The fast bowler was bought by KXIP for Rs 20 lakh in the 2014 IPL players auction. 

This is the second trade done by RPS after having secured Delhi Darevdevils’ batsman Mayank Agarwal. Earlier, a day before auctions, Pune chnaged thier skipper from MS Dhoni to Steven Smith.
