IPL 2021: Dhoni searches balls after hitting massive sixes during training

New Delhi : The ongoing season of Indian Premier League 2021 is set to resume in UAE and Chennai Super Kings team has started preparations for the event. CSK will be aiming to seal their place in the playoffs and go for a winning streak when the event resumes in September.

The official Twitter handle of the franchise shared a video of captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni's training session in UAE. 

In the video, Dhoni can be seen hitting multiple sixes with an ease and later he can be seen retrieving some of the balls from the bushes, along with some of his teammates. Posting the video on Instagram, CSK captioned it as, "Hit and Seek #WhistlePodu #Yellove @mahi7781".

IPL 2021 was suspended midway in May amid sudden spike in coronavirus cases in India.

Before the season was abruptly halted, CSK were in good form, winning five matches and losing only two fixtures. They were second on the points table, with Delhi Capitals (DC) on top spot.

CSK will resume the campaign with a match against defending champions Mumbai Indians on September 19. The fixture between CSK and MI will also be the opening match for IPL 2021 resumption.
