New Delhi : Mumbai Indians (MI) and captain Rohit Sharma took 3 games to score their first victory in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Rohit, who had gone 24 games without reaching a half-century, ended the drought by scoring his first fifty in IPL and led his team to a thrilling six-wicket win over Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Tuesday.

After winning the game, Rohit Sharma visited no time in connecting with his wife Ritika Sajdeh over face time. Ritika congratulated Rohit on winning the 'Player of the Match' and mentioned that their daughter Samaira, affectionately called "Sammy," would be happy to see the trophy. Rohit jokingly responded, "Sammy will be happy to see the trophy, not me?"

In the video, Rohit can be seen asking her wife Ritika where did she watch the match to which she replied, "I was watching in my room. I was screaming so loud. My voice is completely gone, it was a crazy game."

Ritika inquired about how Rohit was feeling after the match, and he replied, "No, no, I am feeling good. I went inside and didn't want to see the last over. My nails are gone. I have been a part of such games a lot in the past 15 years in IPL, and I have seen this a lot. I miss you guys, I'll see you guys tomorrow," before signing out.

Rohit Sharma turned out to be the top scorer with the 65 runs off 45 balls, hitting four sixes and six fours, as the five-time IPL champions MI chased down 173 runs to win off the final ball of the match.
