India vs South Africa: Rishabh Pant trolled after another flop show
Bengaluru : Not learning from his previous mistakes, Rishabh Pant once again flopped on his poor shot selection during the third T20I against South Africa in Bengaluru. The 21-year-old wicket-keeper batsman was sent back to the pavilion on a 20-ball 19 by Bjorn Fortuin on a loose delivery.
Pant decided to go after the delivery with a loft over long-off, but since he had to reach for it all he could manage was a slice straight to Phehlukwayo, who made no mistake.
So far, Rishabh Pant has played for India in 11 Tests, 12 ODIs and 19 T20Is and it is expected that the young wicketkeeper-batsman reads the situation well and doesn't falter to careless shots.
Currently, he is considered as the number 1 choice to replace Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the team.
While Shikhar Dhawan was the only Indian batsman who timed the ball sweetly during his stay, the rest of the batsmen perished trying to go big against the lack of pace offered by the opposition.
People on social media slammed Rishabh Pant for his poor shot selection. Check out the reaction below:

Enough of @RishabhPant17 - repeated bad selection of shots; what is the coach doing. Not at this level. Still have time for World Cup - bring in @imsanjusamson#INDvSA #RishabhPant @RaviShastriOfc
